Excited to Launch our New Blog!

Hello and Welcome to the New My Pets Wardrobe Blog! I will be posting news and information about the pet industry, whats new with our online store, and any other interesting pet articles or info that I come across.

At My Pets Wardrobe we have a wide selection of dog clothes, dog collars, leads, dog accessories, dog toys and doggy footwear. Our products are hand picked from manufacturers all over the world which enables us to source a wide range of designs that are unique and something a little bit different.

We carry out a lot of research on the brands we sell, making sure that they are made of the best quality materials and are made from sturdy designs that will last over time. Our main priority is to make the brands we sell fashionable, yet functional and 100% safe for all of our pets to use.

A little about me...Growing up on acreage we always had dogs, Standard Fox Terriers, my parents still have 2, Lacey and Bindi. They are a gorgeous breed and fantastic around kids! When my partner and I moved into our first home we decided to get a puppy of our own. We 'ummed and ahhed' about what breed would best suit us and we finally settled on something white and fluffy - something we both hadn't experienced, a Shih Tzu :) We brought him home the Easter long weekend of 2007 and named him Toby (but he is now affectionately known as Tobes, Tobelerone, or T-Bear).

During his first winter I began looking online for little jumpers and coats to keep him warm. Right from the start he loved to be dressed up and we had no worries getting him to put his little jumpers on at night. From these initial experiences with Toby, I started to look into and research more about dog clothing and accessories, and what was out there in the Australian market. From there, my interest grew in this area of the pet industry and My Pets Wardrobe was born.

A few months later, along came Pom Pom (or Miss-Pommie) a gorgeous little Lhasa-Apso x Maltese that we gratefully inherited from a family member. She also loves to be dressed and also loves to have her hair up to keep her fringe out of the way.

All of the products that come in the door are tested and reviewed by personally by Toby, Pom Pom, Lacey & Bindi to make sure that the quailty is up to our standard before they go online for sale.
